I am pleased to announce that Thomas Thompson has joined our team as Controller, Double Check. Tom will be our new financial leader for this business, succeeding Scott Cross, who is retiring at the end of March. Tom has over 25 years of experience in project-oriented accounting, analytics, and systems. He comes to us after time with ZGF Architects LLP, David Evans and Associates, Inc., and Glumac, businesses with an architecture and engineering orientation. Tom will support the entire Double Check operation in our Kansas City office and report directly to me.

Tom attended Utah State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He resides in the Kansas City area in Smithville, Missouri. He has a daughter who is finishing her doctorate in Nursing, and he enjoys many nerdy things (e.g., Star Trek, Weird Al Yankovic, etc.), live music, and all motorsports-related.

I appreciate the substantial contributions of Scott Cross to the Double Check business and the current work he is doing to ensure a smooth transition with Tom. We are fortunate to have this leadership in our organization.
