Fuel and Tank Quality Division
Proactive or Reactive; Either way, our customers face challenges with fuel storage. In the early 2000’s the United States EPA amended the requirements for fuel properties that eventually lead to a myriad of issues, and damage not only to fuel storage equipment but to vehicles. Whether it is fuel for a fleet or one of many retail locations that supplies fuel, storage tanks and equipment require maintenance.
At Tanknology we believe a preventative maintenance program is the best choice. Unfortunately, that is not always the choice of our clients.
Something as simple as our DieselCheck™ fuel sampling program, which is easily performed during a monthly inspection or annual compliance test, can alert a customer of potential issues. It can generate secondary revenue in the form of FuelPure fuel filtration or TankClean™ Remote Video UST Cleaning System and open the door for an ongoing preventative maintenance program discussion.
FuelPure™ fuel filtration equipment uses a graduated multi-stage filtering system to remove sludge, debris and water. Water is the breeding ground in fuel storage tanks for biological growth, the root cause of many tank problems. Treating diesel fuel with a biocide additive can help control biological growth, but the key is making sure equipment is tight and free of water.
The only true visual tank cleaning process on the market (outside of manned entry) is TankClean. As part of the TankClean process, technicians use our proprietary TankCam® as their eyes to focus on parts of the fuel storage systems that may be dirtier than other parts of the tank. TankCam also provides customers with an inside look at the integrity of their tanks by showing any abnormalities or blemishes. Once the TankClean™ process is complete the customer is supplied a summary report and a downloadable video of the inside of their tanks.
The growth potential for 2024 is tremendous with the D&H expansion. We now have access to thousands of sites, and site owners, who were previously unaware of Tanknology’s industry-leading offerings.
