Employee Spotlight – Mike Levesque
We’d like you to meet Mike Levesque, Tanknology’s Quality Control Manager for the Western Region. Mike started his environmental career in 1988 with NDE Env. Corp, which merged with Tanknology in 1996. As a field technician, certified trainer, and in his current QC role(since 2004) Mike has become proficient in all Tanknology testing methodologies, including Vacutect™, SureTest™, VPLT™, as well as become an industry expert on advanced vapor recovery systems found in California and other areas of the West Coast, along with the sophisticated continuous monitoring components for air quality and UST regulations.
As a certified trainer, Mike has spread the tank testing gospel across four continents, taking him to many interesting locations including Saudi Arabia, Panama, Honduras, Dominican Republic and Spain as well as 40 United States.
Mike is an avid learner, a veteran of the United States Air Force and student at Cal State-Fresno. This led him to completing an extensive electronic training certification that led him to a second career in his off hours. Combined with his love of music and electronics background, Mike founded and owns Wizard Sound that provides sound, lighting, and recording for numerous events and venues in Central California. Mike has been happily married to his wife Iris for over 50 years. When not on the road for Tanknology, or working the sound booth, Mike can be found enjoying time with his family, grandkids, dogs, and on the road in his Class A motorhome.
