East Region Update – Matt Jenkins

The Petroleum Marketers Equipment Company has been a part of the D&H United family for almost a year now.  Time has passed quickly, and a lot has happened in over the past 11-months.  The DHU DFW teams moved into their new offices and shortly thereafter the PME team moved out of their location and we integrated offices. A total of  seven (7)  individuals made the move and 100% of them are still with the company today while a few have taken on additional roles, responsibilities and promotions.   Melvin Wallace who headed up the DFW office for PME transitioned to Tulsa in late 2021 to assume the reigns of Operations Manager from Jim Summers who retired after 30+ years with the business.  Adam Sanders was added to role of Service Manager and Matt Seever nears 25-years with the company while running the construction teams in Tulsa.

In Oklahoma City Jarred Sarver assumed the role of Branch Operations Manager and has assembled a great team with Nick Schwab running Service, Cori Twelves overseeing AR/AP, Albert Pearce heading up construction and Steven Flint managing the inventory and warehouse.

The Oklahoma teams pride themselves in having a best-in-class construction organization with an average of over 15-years in the industry for team members.  Nick and his team hold a competitive advantages on the service side by having 8-serivce technicians with average tenureship of 10-years being able to provide Gilbarco training with two Certified Trainers and

Major accounts include 7-11, On-Cue, Pete’s, QuikTrip and Casey’s.

Genesis is the environmental side of the business run by Rick Simms, based in OKC, and covering the entire state.  Rick and his team provide consulting services whenever there are tank removals or concerns with fuel releases.  This is an exciting portion of the business and expected to see exciting levels of growth in the coming year.

In total we added 73 new team members to the DHU family.  Like any blended family both sides have their way of running things.  Coming together with open communications, teamwork and willingness to learn has benefitted everyone.  There has been room for advancement and while there have been some bumps in the road  we have made solid progress over the last year and the future ahead is bright.
