Customer Spotlight – Steve Teran

The El Paso Environmental Dept recently provided a tank cleaning service on a 4.7M gallon AST for El Paso Electric (EPEC) at their Newman Power plant. The scope included over two months of Vac Truck services, manhours, disposal of 8,300 gallons of rinsewater and 30,560 gallons of tank bottom sludge. The work also involved removing piping and disconnecting old service lines.

EPEC Project Manager Kendalle Martin stated “D&H United assisted the Newman power station with fuel oil sludge removal, tank cleaning and piping removal at TK-1. The D&H United team worked diligently to ensure the project was safe, compliant, and on schedule. D&H United worked with EPE Personal to identify and implement solutions along the way and remained flexible when the project took a few unexpected turns. I appreciated the level of care, quality of work, and work ethic exhibited throughout the duration of the project. D&H United always showed up ready to work and relied on one another to get the job done each day.
