When we receive notices from the state or federal government, we are reminded of what Ronald Reagan said were the nine most terrifying words of the English language: “I’m with the government and I’m here to help.” Yet a webinar hosted by TCEQ might be just what the doctor ordered for many UST owners and operators in Texas.
TCEQ is hosting free webinars for underground storage tank (UST) owners and operators to explain the state’s UST reporting and record-keeping requirements. The program will also help owners and operators be prepared for compliance investigations.
Each participant will receive a printed copy of the UST Compliance Notebook. During the webinar, TCEQ will discuss the contents of the notebook and provide examples of records owners and operators will need to document compliance during an investigation. There will also be a Q&A period hosted by the state. D&H United’s corporate compliance services manager Gary Baker ([email protected]) will attend the webinars and be available if you have a question more appropriate for a service provider.
The webinars are live. Only those registered for the webinar for that day will be able to access the event. Register by 5:00 p.m., July 24 to allow sufficient time to receive a printed copy of the UST compliance notebook before the webinar.
