An in-vehicle fuel payment integration system is coming to Phillips 66, 76 and Conoco stations.

HOUSTON – Phillips 66 and Honda Developer Studio are working together to develop in-vehicle fuel payment integration. The technology will enable Honda vehicle owners to reserve a pump and pay for fuel at Phillips 66, 76 and Conoco locations through an in-dash infotainment system.

Users of the new in-vehicle feature can find the nearest Phillips station and pay at the pump from the “comfort of their driver seat.” Mobile pay launched in early 2018 and is rolling the technology out to all branded stations in 2019. Currently, 7,550 independently owned outlets in 48 states sell Phillips 66 products.

“We understand consumers want to fuel up, pay and quickly be on their way,” said John Barbour, manager of payments and card services at Phillips 66. “Now consumers can use the Phillips 66 apps in Honda cars to pay for gas at the pump in a fast, friendly and seamless way.”
